1. Tom Anzalone has provided a VBS script that will create System Restore Point and can executed  by the Windows XP scheduler.
    Just click on the pointer at the nd of this paragraph. You'll be asked to download a zip file and save or run it on your computer. 
    Once the file has been opened, a text file and a vbs script file will be created on your computer.
    Open the text file for instructions on how to install the script and set up the schedule. Click the pointer.
